How to prep for your pressure washing appointment

I ask every customer to do a short prep before I show up. It saves time, protects your stuff, and gets you a better result.

• Close all windows. Even ones you don't think I'll get near.
• Move patio furniture off the wash zone (or tell me and I'll do it for a small charge).
• Coil up decorative rugs and doormats — soaked doormats take days to dry.
• Turn off any exterior sprinklers on a timer.

• Water your beds heavily. Dilutes any drift.
• Unlock the gate if I'm doing a back yard or fence.
• Set outdoor pets inside for the ~30 min I'm actively spraying.
• Point out anything I should avoid — Ring doorbell, satellite dish, particular plant.

• Kids and pets inside
• Cars moved out of the driveway
• Windows and doors closed on the wall I'm working

• Wait 30 min for surfaces to visually dry before walking on treated concrete
• Don't step on the deck for 2–4 hours if it was soft-washed
• Give plants a normal watering that evening

Everything else — water hookup adapters, my own extension cords, hoses, cleaning solutions, ladders, tarps for sensitive plants. You just need the outdoor water spigot and one accessible outlet.
