Can you pressure wash in winter?

Winter in Coffee County is mild but unpredictable. Some winters I work almost every weekend; others we get three weeks of freezing weather straight. Here's when winter washing works.

• Daytime temps above 40°F
• No overnight freezes expected in the next 24 hours
• Surface is dry and workable
• Sunny weather forecast for the day after

• Overnight freezes forecast (water in cracks = damage)
• Wet, cold, gray days (surfaces won't dry, streaks likely)
• Wind chill below 30°F (equipment struggles, worker safety)
• Snow or ice anywhere on the property

• Interior garage floor cleaning (heated space)
• Post-storm quick rinses of front walkways
• Small emergency stains (spilled paint, oil leaks) that need immediate attention
• Commercial storefront maintenance (usually indoor water source, faster dry)

• Full house wash (surfaces stay wet too long)
• Deck wash before stain (stain won't cure)
• Roof soft-wash (dangerous with cold + potential ice)
• Anything requiring a garden hose left out (freeze risk)
