Post-wash care: what to do (and not do) after your pressure washing appointment

The wash is done. Here's how to keep the results looking good for the maximum amount of time.

A good wash lasts 12–18 months. Here's how to make sure it lasts on the long end of that range.

First 24 hours

  • Don't power-wash anything else nearby (undoes solution's residual)
  • Don't let sprinklers hit siding right after
  • Let concrete dry fully before parking on it
  • Keep pets off treated decks for 4 hours

First month

  • Rinse siding lightly if pollen hits heavily
  • Sweep away leaves promptly from concrete
  • Watch for signs of anything I flagged (loose caulk, damaged siding)

Ongoing

  • Trim vegetation 12 inches from walls
  • Redirect sprinklers away from siding
  • Keep gutters clear (drips create streaks quickly)
  • Sweep the driveway monthly to keep leaves from staining

When to book the next wash

  • Sunny house: 18–24 months
  • Shaded house: 12–15 months
  • Heavy tree cover: 9–12 months
  • After any construction/painting nearby: anytime

Warning signs

  • Small green spots reappearing → dwell time longer next wash
  • Streaks appearing on gutters → gutter clean needed
  • Concrete darkening in patches → seal it

Loyalty pricing
